Our Multi-Activity Days and overnight camps fulfil the PE National Curriculum target of Outdoor and Adventurous Activity Challenges.
We encourage Team Building and leadership skills for children aged 7-11, combining fun and personal development in a wonderful woodland environment. Watch children flourish in challenging new surroundings.
We specialise in residential camps for KS2 and are open all year round.
See your students grow amongst our trees.
We are proud to be a part of the βquality assurance schemeβ Learning Outside the Classroom, providing students with more opportunities to access high quality learning beyond the classroom experiences. Learn more at their website.
Residential Camps
Camping is a great way for children to explore the outdoors, the excitement of sleeping in one of our Wooden Glamping Pods with their school friends adds to the whole Oaker Wood Experience.
We have 2 completely separate Glamping Villages so each school has exclusive use of a village, no sharing facilities with other schools. Each village sleeps up to 60 children, or for larger groups both villages can be booked together.
ACCOMMODATION
Accommodation is in Wooden Glamping Pods each sleeping between 4 and 8 on bunk beds. Pods have electric lighting and heaters for the colder months.
Each Village has a covered communal dining area where you can opt for catered/self catered or a mixture of the two.
At the heart of each Glamping Village is our fire circle. Toasting marshmallows, singing camp fire songs and telling ghost stories all make great memories of an Oaker Wood Camp.
